Archaeology Tour of Naurzum State Nature Reserve

UNESCO recognized Saryarka is home to ancient archaeology in Naurzum State Nature Reserve.

Surrounding the Naurzum State Nature Reserve are ancient archaeological sites. Hire local guides to take you to the archaeological installation Ekidyn 1 made of natural stone, called Dyn. Local legends talk about the site located on the Kara-Turgai river where the bloody battle between two clans and the ritual meaning of this site.

The Necropolis Bestamak is located in northern Torgai, next to the river Ubagan. The ancient settlement held the Treasures of Bestamak and part of the cultural heritage of Kostanay. In the same area of Bestamak is the Lisakovsk archeological site which dates back to the Bronze Age and the Andron peoples. The best place for information is the Lisakovsk Museum of History and Culture of the Top Pritobolje.

Next on a tour of ancient discovery is the Kostanay Geoglyphs. These large stone designs suggest a sanctuary, yet the method continues to puzzle with its unique construction. There are 260 of these earthen constructions in various shapes and sizes.
