Become a "Mountain Dwarf" in Rammelsberg

Rammelsberg offers a very unique experience to its smallest guests - the opportunity to become a mountain dwarf.

These dwarfs are not mystical beings, they are the children's club of the museum. Rammelsberg gives the opportunity for children to experience the underground world of Rammelsberg. They can experience the huge museum houses, interview the museum staff, explore the mining landscape around the Rammelsberg, determine minerals and even investigate real museum objects.

The club offers every mountain dwarf the opportunity to learn a lot about local history, culture and science. They can discover how slate or ore is formed, or how many people became rich through ore from the Rammelsberg, though not the miners themselves.

Children aged between 7 and 12 years old who live in Goslar or the surrounding area, can become a club member. Click here for more information.
