There are so many cafes in Vilnius that tourists usually say “if there is no cafe in Vilnius every five minutes, it means you are not in Vilnius anymore“.

Coffee Culture

For a local experience, stop at one of the city's charming cafes and watch the world pass by as you drink a coffee.

Vilnius is a city that smells of coffee. The city is home to many cafes, offering a range of coffees from across the globe, decadent sweets and pastries, as well as stylish atmosphere.

In the coffee shops you will hear many conversations, you will see tourists have a little break, and students getting their caffeine fix whilst doing their homework. The cafes of Vilnius are scattered across the city - you will find them hidden away in small streets, inside bookstores and in shopping malls.

Lithuanians are true fans of good coffee and they know how to enjoy it - with a chocolate truffle and a heart-warming conversation. For Lithuanians a cup of coffee is not only a source of energy but also a symbol of friendship.

Lithuanians coffee chains Huracán Coffee, Caffeine LT, and Cafe Vero have created a true web of coffee shops across the city (and the country). You can always grab a take away cup as well.
