Cycling the Alpe Adria Trail

From Salzburg to Grado, the Alpe Adria Cycle Track goes from the mountains to the sea, passing through the most beautiful and fascinating places in the region.

Named one of Europe’s best bike paths, the Alpe Adria Cycle Track links the Austrian city of Salzburg to Grado on the Italian coast, going from the mountains to the sea, and passing through the most beautiful places in the region. You can ride the entire 415 kilometres, which takes about a week. For a shorter trip, you can ride North from Aquileia to Palmanova in 10.8 km, or south to Grado in 17 km along the spectacular lagoon path.
