Discover private rooms

When in Versailles, you can visit the main venues of the Palace as you please, wandering around the State Apartments, the Battles Gallery or the Gallery of Coaches, for instance. But what if you could make a real experience out of your visit to the Palace of the Sun king?
Instead of a classic self-guided visit, you can book a tour that allows you to discover the intimate life of French Kings or open otherwise closed doors.
During guided tours, a palace expert will take you to exclusive areas within a range of themes, including the King’s Private Apartments in the Palace, the Trianon palaces, the Royal Opera House, the Royal Chapel and of course gardens and groves.
It’s also possible to book a prestige visit that offers you a customised experience for the parts of Versailles that you would like to focus on, including a personalised welcome and access to secret passages and other hidden places.
Or to really feel like royalty, you can book an extra-special customised tour that takes place outside of opening hours. Walking through the palace without the usual crowds is an experience fit for a king.
