Hort de la Sínia
Just a few minutes from Tarragona, next to Tamarit and river Gaià’s mouth, there is a small natural piece of paradise called the Hort de la Sínia.
This ecological farm offers protection to the local environment, including the river and the beach dunes. But it also provides space for local families to manage their own orchards and vegetable gardens, to learn more about sustainable farming.
For visitors, the most popular activities are at the Welfare Area, where there is a series of wellness and spa treatments available. This natural centre combines balneotherapy techniques, natural and thermal cosmetics, therapeutic massages, and body and facial treatments made using medicinal herbs.
Some of the treatments – including the mud baths – take place outdoors, surrounded by nature. However, there is also a spectacular Mongolian-style yurt where therapeutic massages are performed. You can also use the Finnish sauna-dome to get rid of toxins while getting a stress release.
