Ride the e-bus

Save yourself some time and energy and take the bus that connects all the major spots across Zollverein.

The Zollverein World Heritage ite is large and the grounds stretch out over 100 hectares. If you don’t want to walk the whole way, you can take an e-bus to explore the area.

During the Zollverein round trip, a tour guide will tell you interesting facts about the history and architecture of the world's most beautiful coal mine and the largest central coking plant in Europe. You’ll also hear information about the exciting transformation of Zollverein into a place for art, culture and creative industries.

The round trip will take you along the 3.5-kilometre-long Ring Promenade, across the Zollverein spoil tip and past all the important buildings. They start at the central stop ‘AM FORUM’ every half hour.

With six stops, the regular bus service connects the facilities of Shaft XII, Shaft 1/2/8 and the Zollverein Coking Plant. A day ticket entitles you to any number of trips to and from all the stops.
