Sairam-Ugam National Park

This recently established national park offers adventure enthusiasts a vast array of outdoor recreational activities, on low grasslands to mountain peaks.

Sairam-Ugam National Nature Park is a world renowned national park. UNESCO designated this mountain area as one of the best places for ecotourism and exploring untouched nature. The snowmelt rivers of Mashat, Sairamsu, Kaskasu, Ugam Burgulyuk, Badam, Daubaba, and Kokbulak meander through the landscape of glacial mountains.

Snow-capped Sairam Peak rises 4,000 meters above sea level while the Makpal Lake glistens light blue. The rich biodiversity of resident endangered snow leopard, Turkestan lynx, bear, wolves, and Menzbir's marmot make this a truly unique ecosystem.
