Sairam-Ugam National Park

This recently established national park offers adventure enthusiasts a vast array of outdoor recreational activities, on low grasslands to mountain peaks.

Sairam-Ugam National Nature Park is a world-renowned national park and one of the main components of the World Heritage Site. High up in the dramatic mountain range, you'll find incredible places for ecotourism and exploring untouched nature. Punctuating it all are the snowmelt rivers of Mashat, Sairamsu, Kaskasu, Ugam Burgulyuk, Badam, Daubaba, and Kokbulak, which meander through the landscape of glacial mountains.

Snow-capped Sairam Peak rises 4000 metres above sea level, while the Makpal Lake glistens light blue. The rich biodiversity of resident endangered snow leopard, Turkestan lynx, bear, wolves, and Menzbir's marmot make this a truly unique ecosystem.
