Sunny Beach
Take a break from Nessebar's ancient sites and enjoy the sun, sand, and the scene on Sunny Beach, which offers over eight kilometres of Black Sea tranquility.
On Sunny Beach, the average temperature of the sea is 20 – 26 °C, and its salinity is half that of the Mediterranean. This stretch of heaven has been awarded the Blue Flag eco label for environmental awareness, meaning this is a one of the region's cleanest beaches and sea—with fresh air coming from the nearby mountain.
The north and south beaches of Nessebar are situated in the new part of the town. In Old Nessebar there is also a small beach.
